In the wake of speculation in the press that her romance with girlfriend Sam Ronson is over, Lindsay Lohan sent out a cyberspace message to let fans know the real story. "Little piece of TRUE information: We did NOT break up!" read a posting on her MySpace blog.
The actress went online to counter stories that an argument during a New Year's Eve party had lead her to call time on the relationship. "It's really annoying to have all of your friends e-mailing you saying, I saw, I read, etc. NOT TRUE," she wrote.
Jennifer Love Hewitt, on the other hand, is starting the new year as a singleton after her engagement to Scottish actor Ross McCall ended.
"They broke up over the holidays," revealed a source close to the couple. "They're both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised."
I Know What You Did Last Summer star Jennifer and the Band Of Brothers actor had announced in November 2007 that they planned to wed after dating for two years.
